Introduction:

Interprofessional Education (IPE) is widely recommended as an essential component of high quality health professions education. The challenge, however, is whether IPE leads to collaborative practice, given the structure and hierarchy of the healthcare system, and, ultimately, if it makes a difference to patient care. In any context, but especially given the human resource constraints across Africa, team-based care is vital to improving patient outcomes; how do we move towards making this a reality? The webinar will explore these questions.
