Join Us for an AFREhealth-UCSF STRIPE HIV dissemination webinar
Showcasing STRIPE HIV work from South Africa, Zimbabwe, Malawi and Lesotho
Introduction: Starting in 2019, a team from AFREhealth and the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF), led by Amb. Goosby and with funding from Human Resources and Services Administration (HRSA), embarked on a project: Strengthening InterProfessional Education to Improve HIV Care Across Africa (STRIPE HIV). STRIPE HIV aims to build health workforce capacity across Africa to achieve HIV epidemic control. It has also sought to reshape how health professions training is delivered, emphasizing the importance of team-based learning as an instructional approach to prepare for effective, collaborative work within a cohesive group. This webinar will showcase the achievements, results and lessons learnt of STRIPE-HIV. Participants will hear how the training has been done in various countries, and learn about various innovations that has been implemented.
