I was encouraged to participate in the program because I thought there might be a learning system in other countries that is different from my country; and I would have the opportunity to also share and gain knowledge.

I also got motivated to participate because it would give me the experience to work with people of different professions, cultures and backgrounds in the future.
As a member of GEMx we are ready to share our knowledge with health professionals abroad. Following the elective program, we plan to intervene to identifying problems in the community in professional way

The African Forum for Research and Education in Health (AFREhealth) is an interprofessional health grouping that seeks to work all stakeholders interested in health profession education , research and service delivery to improve the quality of health care in Africa through research, education and capacity building.
