Roger Lawrence is an Information Systems and IT professional with a Master of Science in Management Information Systems and a Bachelor of Science in Information Technology. He has also undergone professional training in Knowledge Management and other specialized areas of digital transformation.
At AFREhealth, Roger leads IT implementations and manages the organization’s IT ecosystem. He ensures the successful rollout and ongoing support of automated systems including the Events Management System, Membership Management System, Learning Management System (LMS), and Knowledge Management platforms.
Roger plays a pivotal role in advancing digital learning and knowledge sharing across Africa’s health education landscape. He oversees the implementation and administration of the LMS, coordinates eLearning training programs such as STRIPE HIV, Pedagogical Course for health professionals and Nursing Leadership Program, and manages content development, facilitator support, and participant engagement.
In addition, Roger leads AFREhealth’s digital communications, enhancing the organization’s online presence and promoting its flagship programs and events. His work strategically bridges technology, education, and partnerships driving impactful eLearning experiences and collaborative growth with international partners and AFREhealth members.
