Professor Prisca Olabisi Adejumo, RN, PhD, FWACN, IIWCC, is an adult health nurse expert, holding an academic position as dean of the College of Nursing at the University of Ibadan, Nigeria. Her academic journey includes double master’s and double PhDs, from the University of Ibadan. She has expanded her expertise through visiting scholar roles and specialized training at esteemed institutions in the United States. Prof. Adejumo's research focuses on wound care, HIV/AIDS, and genetic counseling for non-communicable diseases, particularly sickle cell disease and cancer, She is the 2nd Vice-President for SCHAF and is certificated in haemoglobinopathy counselling. Her professional portfolio reflects her dedication to global health initiatives, as evidenced in her roles as a WHO consultant and project coordinator for COVID-19 preparedness among nurses in multiple countries and the Consortium of Universities for Global Health (CUGH) competency sub-committee membership. She has over a hundred publications in reputable journals and is deeply committed to advancing interprofessional knowledge. Her contributions earned her global recognition, including induction into Scotland's International Nurse Researcher Hall of Fame. Beyond academia, Prof. Adejumo holds leadership roles in professional societies, serving as the President of the Alpha Alpha Upsilon, OAU Chapter of Sigma Theta Tau International, Chair, of the Board of Examinations of the West African Postgraduate College of Nurses and Midwives (WACPNM) and a certified accreditor to various accreditation processes in Nigeria. Through her multifaceted contributions to nursing education, research, and leadership, Prof. Adejumo continues to inspire and shape the future of healthcare in Africa and beyond
